Job Description -
Title: Tech Lead ERP Applications
Location: Hybrid (2 days onsite per week) Minneapolis, MN OR Chicago, IL

Must-Have Skills
- 6+ years in hands-on ERP Applications leadership (not just oversight or PM)
- Strong experience supporting/managing ERP systems in Manufacturing / Supply Chain / Procurement
- Experience with ERP platforms such as: Epicor, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.
- Proven success leading ERP transformations or consolidations
- End-to-end IT Service Delivery across ERP environments (support, enhancements, system operations)
- Longevity in past roles (no job hopping / short 6 12mo stints)
Nice-to-Have:
- Big 5 Consulting background (Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture, PwC, EY) with long tenure not short project gigs
Role Overview
This is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for delivering and continuously improving ERP-related IT services across Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Procurement.
You will help define and execute the roadmap toward a standardized, consolidated ERP landscape as the company scales past $1B+ growth.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery & Operations
- Manage day-to-day support and enhancements for ERP and related business applications
- Ensure ERP systems meet performance, reliability, and SLA standards
Roadmap & Transformation
- Lead multi-year ERP consolidation and process standardization efforts
- Evaluate and implement systems to improve supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing performance
Team & Vendor Management
- Mentor internal support teams
- Manage external vendors and SI partners, including contracts and performance
Business Partnership
- Act as the liaison between IT and Operations/Supply Chain leadership
- Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
- Communicate roadmap and project status to senior leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (Master s preferred)
- 6+ years in ERP Applications, Enterprise IT, or Solutions Architecture roles
- Strong background in manufacturing and supply chain processes
- Experience in MES, Procurement, or Supply Chain Planning systems is a plus
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
