Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled API Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development using Java, Maven, Spring Boot, and Microservices, along with experience integrating external APIs and working with cloud platforms. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust backend systems that support our applications and services.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java, Maven, Spring Boot, and React JS (for API integration purposes).

  • Work with integration middleware and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) solutions.

  • Develop and consume SOAP and RESTful APIs supporting multiple formats (XML, JSON).

API Integration

  • Integrate external APIs to enhance application functionality and ensure seamless data exchange across systems.

Performance Optimization

  • Optimize backend performance for speed, scalability, and reliability.

  • Ensure system compatibility across multiple environments.

Testing & Debugging

  • Perform comprehensive testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure system stability and performance.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in backend development and API integration.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in backend/API development.

  • Strong proficiency in Java, Maven, Spring Boot, and React JS.

  • Experience integrating external APIs (SOAP/REST).

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.

  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (Git).

  • Knowledge of security best practices in backend development.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
