Power Automate Developer (NJ) W2 ONLY

1) Position: Power Automate Developer

Location: On site in Princeton, NJ
Will be on: Our W2

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Power Automate workflows for business process automation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable automation solutions.
• Integrate Power Automate solutions with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online, Teams, Azure services, and external APIs.
• Develop and customize Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven) applications to complement workflow solutions.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including process designs, user guides, and deployment plans.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and adhere to governance and compliance standards.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing Power Automate flows and Power Apps.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and best practice recommendations to junior developers and business users.
• Stay up to date with new features, updates, and best practices within the Power Platform ecosystem.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of professional experience in IT development, with at least 4+ years dedicated to Power Automate / Power Platform development.
• Proven experience building complex, enterprise-level Power Automate flows, integrating with Microsoft and third-party services.
• Proficient in Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven apps) development.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services, Azure Logic Apps, SharePoint Online, Dataverse (Common Data Service), and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience in JSON, expressions, connectors, and custom connector creation.
• Experience in Power BI integration with Power Platform is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
