Hiring For: Business Systems Analyst Job Description:
Location: Saint Louis, MO (Hybrid)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Responsibilities:
- Requirements Analysis
- Gap Analysis in the Requirements
- Conduct Elicitations Meeting with All the Stakeholders Involved
- Internal Mobile Architect/Dev Team Discussion
- Prepare User Stories with Acceptance Criteria
- Review Requirements with Business or Stakeholders
- Review User Stories with QA Team
- Support QA Team with Testing and Defect Triage
Others:
- Working with BPMN Process and UML Notations
- Working with Jira and User Stories
- Working with SharePoint and Chalk Sites
General description:
- Business Analysis job description (Must-have):
- Liaison between technical groups and the business
- Requirements definition and elicitation
- Ensure requirements are clear, concise and testable
- A willingness to provide constructive feedback on projects
- Ability to independently research topics using available tools like SharePoint and other document repositories
- Ability to recognize and determine whether the changes impact other systems
- Ability to recognize up/downstream dependencies
- Organizational skills; coordination of meeting agendas, minutes and action items
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
- Experience creating Process flow diagrams using MS Visio/Lucid
- Create and Maintain user stories using JIRA
Business Analysis Tools (Nice to have):
- Octane - Nice to Have
- Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) - Used to construct process flows to clearly show impacts of the project (as-is and to-be flows)
- Telecom/Mobile experience
