Primary responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop and document automated acceptance test equipment required for new and existing electronic products and assist with transition of this equipment to Production Test Engineering
  • Develop a set of testing requirements based on engineering design documentation and hardware
  • Develop functional test stations utilizing state of the art PXI, LAN, USB in a context of automated parametric measurements, while maintaining a modular, flexible and scalable design approach
  • Assist in determining measurement techniques, identifying and procuring instrumentation, and implementation of test systems to perform requirements verification
  • Interface with product development teams to determine appropriate test strategy and coverage for functional requirements
  • Grow in electrical engineering expertise as opportunities in analog and digital circuits, cable design, debugging of electrical assemblies are presented
  • Author process, test and calibration procedures
  • Produce clear, understandable documentation geared for all audiences

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years' experience developing instrument driven test equipment (Level II)
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years' experience developing instrument driven test equipment (Level III)
  • Experience programming with LabView or Python
  • Experience in problem isolation with demonstrable troubleshooting skills
  • Must have strong written and verbal communications skills and be able to work in a team-oriented environment
  • An existing U.S. Security Clearance is desired. The ability to obtain one is required

*This role is open at multiple levels. Candidates will be hired at a level consistent with their background and experience:

  • Level II: $89,800 - $135,600
  • Level III: $112,400 - $171,000
