Job Details

Role Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned Informatica IDMC Administrator with deep expertise in Data Lineage, Enterprise Data Catalog, and metadata management to support our banking data ecosystem. This role is critical to ensuring data transparency, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across our financial platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) including Secure Agents, services, and user roles.
Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal uptime and scalability.
Manage connectivity with on-prem and cloud data sources (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, AWS S3).
Data Catalog Lineage
Implement and manage Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC) and Axon Data Governance tools.
Automate metadata ingestion from core banking systems, data warehouses, and reporting platforms.
Build and maintain end-to-end data lineage to support regulatory reporting (e.g., BCBS 239, CCAR, AML).
Collaborate with data stewards to enrich metadata with business context and glossary terms.
Governance Compliance
Support data governance initiatives by integrating catalog and lineage with business glossaries and data quality rules.
Ensure compliance with banking regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, SOX) through lineage tracking and metadata tagging.
Assist in audit and risk assessments by providing traceable data flows and impact analysis.
Collaboration Enablement
Partner with data engineers, architects, and compliance teams to align metadata strategy with business goals.
Provide training and onboarding for business users and analysts on catalog and lineage tools.
Document processes, standards, and best practices for metadata and platform management.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.5 years of experience in Informatica administration, with at least 2 years on IDMC.
Strong hands-on experience with Informatica EDC, Axon, and Data Lineage tools.
Familiarity with banking data domains such as loans, deposits, credit risk, and regulatory reporting.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid data environments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Informatica certifications (IDMC, EDC, Axon).Experience with REST APIs, scripting (Python, Shell), and automation.
Knowledge of banking regulations and data governance frameworks (e.g., BCBS 239, DFAST, GDPR).
