job summary:

The IT Systems & Infrastructure Manager oversees all hardware and software systems within the organization, managing everything from procurement and implementation to maintenance, updates, troubleshooting, and repairs. This includes PCs, NAS, print services, internet, cable TV, and proxy systems. The role also encompasses end-user support-resolving technical issues and training staff on devices and systems-and managing the AT&T Office@Hand phone system and conference-room AV setups. In addition, the manager handles workstation setups, including device assembly and wiring for new staff or upon request, and maintains accurate inventories of IT equipment and supplies. Vendor and contract management is another key responsibility: evaluating, selecting, and liaising with third-party providers, ensuring service contracts are honored, and coordinating payments for IT projects and services. Finally, the role offers administrative support by assisting the admin team as needed and preparing weekly and monthly reports summarizing IT activities for the administrative meeting.

responsibilities:


  • Manage IT Hardware & Software Lifecycle



    • Procure, deploy, configure, update, maintain, and repair PCs, NAS, print systems, internet, and cable TV.

  • End-User Technical Support



    • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues; provide device and system training to staff.

  • Voice & Conferencing Systems



    • Maintain and configure the AT&T Office@Hand phone system and conference-room AV equipment; perform troubleshooting, updates, and user demos.

  • Workstation Setup & Onboarding



    • Assemble workstations, configure wiring, and onboard new users-ensuring all equipment is ready for immediate use.

  • Vendor & Contract Management



    • Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with third-party hardware, software providers, and service vendors. Ensure contracts are executed and services delivered.

  • Asset Management



    • Keep accurate inventories of all IT equipment, licenses, and supplies.

  • Project & Vendor Payment Coordination



    • Ensure timely payments for IT-related projects and vendor services; track budgets and invoices.

  • Administrative Support & Reporting



    • Assist the administrative team when needed. Prepare and present weekly and monthly IT activity reports for administrative meetings.

qualifications:


  • Educational Background



    • Associate or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience

  • Hands-On Technical Experience (1-3 years)



    • Installing, configuring, updating, and troubleshooting PCs, servers, NAS, printers, and conference/telephony systems.
    • Network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and exposure to internet, VPNs, and firewalls.

  • End-User Support & System Training



    • Proven ability to resolve hardware/software issues and guide users through system demos or trainings.

  • Vendor & Asset Management



    • Experience interacting with vendors for procurement, service contracts, and support.
    • Maintaining accurate IT asset inventories

  • Conference & Phone System Competency



    • Familiarity with phone systems (e.g., AT&T Office@Hand) and AV/video conferencing support.

  • Project and Time Management



    • Ability to coordinate workstation setups, system updates, and small-scale IT projects; manage schedules and priorities



Soft Skills




    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Clear communication-both technical troubleshooting and user instruction.
    • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and deliver weekly/monthly updates.

  • Certifications (Optional, but Advantageous)



    • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications relevant to system administration

  • Nice to have: Python Experience
