Job Details:

Title: Cybersecurity Engineer

Duration: 12+ Months

Location: Aurora, CO

Required/desired skills:

*) 5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity engineering role.

*) Hands-on experience with Splunk (Enterprise Security preferred), including query writing, dashboarding, and alerting.

*) Proficiency with Qualys (VMDR, WAS, and/or Patch Management modules).

*) Strong understanding of security frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, CIS).

*) Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, REST APIs).

*) Familiarity with networking, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and common enterprise technologies.

*) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

*) Splunk certifications (e.g., Splunk Core Certified Power User, Splunk Enterprise Security Certified Admin). (Preferred)

*) Experience integrating Qualys with SIEM platforms or ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).(Preferred)

*) Previous experience in incident response or threat hunting.(Preferred)
