DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
Texas Health and Human Services Commission require the services of 1 Systems Analyst 2, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of Systems Analyst 2, Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
The role of UI/UX designers is central to improving accessibility, usability, and responsiveness of the HHSC eligibility systems.
Required skills
Years | Required | Experience |
4 | Required | Hands-on experience designing user interfaces and experiences for enterprise systems, including wireframes, prototypes, and visual hierarchies using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch. |
4 | Required | Demonstrated ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams, translating business needs into intuitive design solutions that align with accessibility and branding standards. |
4 | Required | Experience applying UX design principles such as hierarchy, contrast, and alignment to create responsive and accessible web and mobile interfaces. |
4 | Required | Experience creating wireframes and prototypes that support agile development cycles, including sketch-to-visual fidelity transitions. |
5 | Preferred | Experience designing graphical diagrams and visual narratives to communicate timelines, workflows, and system architecture. |
3 | Preferred | Demonstrated ability to facilitate design workshops and feedback sessions with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs. |
3 | Preferred | Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field. Equivalent experience may be substituted. |
3 | Preferred | Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple design streams across concurrent work effort. |
