Job Title: QA Engineer - Web Applications
Overview:
Seeking a QA Engineer with strong manual and automation testing experience to support web-based application testing in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in test case creation, execution, defect tracking, and automation scripting.
Must-Haves:
- 5-7 years of QA experience focused on web-based applications
- 5+ years writing detailed test cases and test plans
- 5+ years using QA tools such as Azure DevOps (TFS), Selenium WebDriver with C#, and SQL
- 3+ years of UI and API performance testing
- Strong experience with Agile/Scrum development
- Proficient in manual and automated testing across system integration, regression, UI, and performance
- Solid knowledge of SQL or PL/SQL and relational databases
- Familiar with version control and defect tracking tools
- Ability to work across multiple projects and meet business priorities
Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements and write test cases and procedures
- Perform testing on new applications and regression testing on existing products
- Create, maintain, and run automated test scripts
- Log and track defects; analyze failures and update test scripts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality delivery
- Participate in design reviews, user meetings, and Agile ceremonies
- Prepare testing documentation and status reports
