Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled mechanical engineer to join our innovative engineering team, focused on advancing medical systems and hardware solutions in the computed tomography (CT) domain. The role involves leveraging advanced design and simulation tools for mechanical modeling, prototyping, and design optimization while ensuring the highest standards of performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will contribute to engineering change control, rapid prototyping, and design verification activities while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and impactful environment.


Skills/Tasks Requirements

  • Mechanical design utilizing Creo/Windchill
  • Simulation and analysis using Ansys FEA, stack-up analysis, and lab testing.
  • Design optimization for cost reduction, yield enhancement, and reliability improvement.
  • Engineering change control and process documentation.
  • Rapid prototyping for component and system development.
  • Design verification and validation processes.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications/Skills:

  • Proven experience in the medical systems or mechanical engineering industry.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate technical problems and solutions effectively.
  • Strong analytical ability and technical competency in hardware engineering
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills to foster teamwork and knowledge sharing.
  • Tools/Technologies:
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD systems, specifically CREO/Windchill.
  • Familiarity with engineering analysis and simulation tools like Ansys.
  • Robust analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
  • Bachelor s or master s degree in mechanical engineering, with a focus on hardware design.
  • Advanced skills in rapid prototyping and simulation tools for design verification.
