Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, data analysts, and architects to understand requirements and technical designs.

  • Design and execute test scenarios based on business requirements, functional specifications, and design documents.

  • Conduct manual and automated testing for web applications, APIs, and web services.

  • Prepare test data for positive and negative scenarios and validate data using SQL queries.

  • Perform functional, regression, and load testing; troubleshoot and resolve issues found during testing.

  • Identify defects, log them, participate in defect triage, and perform root cause analysis.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement and quality enablement initiatives.

  • Mentor junior QA team members and provide guidance on best practices.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in web and API testing, both manual and automated.

  • Proficiency in test automation tools: Selenium, Playwright, TestRail, Python scripting.

  • Knowledge of SQL for data validation.

  • Experience leading QA teams and mentoring junior testers.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Understanding of automation techniques for web and API applications.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with load testing and performance validation.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
