Job Title: Oracle Cloud Technical Solution Architect

Location: Newark, NJ

Key Responsibilities:

Experience designing robust and scalable solutions on the Oracle Cloud platform to meet client requirements. This involves understanding client needs, assessing existing systems, and proposing technical architectures that effectively leverage Oracle Cloud services.

Experience providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from initial planning and design to implementation and maintenance. This includes guiding development teams, conducting code reviews, and ensuring adherence to best practices.

Experienced engaging with clients to understand their business objectives, technical challenges, and opportunities for leveraging Oracle Cloud technologies. Acting as a trusted advisor, you'll help clients make informed decisions about their cloud strategy and architecture.

Collaborating with client IT team to understand business requirements and develop compelling technical proposals and presentations. This may involve creating proof-of-concept demonstrations and conducting technical workshops.

Leading or supporting the implementation of Oracle Cloud solutions, including configuring cloud services, integrating with existing systems, and manage troubleshooting technical issues as they arise.

Continuous Learning and Innovation: Staying up-to-date with the latest Oracle Cloud technologies, industry trends, and best practices. Proactively identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement within the organization and for clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The Candidate should have extensive experience designing, implementing, and supporting complex IT solutions, focusing on Oracle Cloud, especially in Oracle SaaS applications.

The candidate must have a deep understanding of cloud architecture principles, including microservices, containerization, serverless computing, and hybrid cloud environments. They must also be proficient in designing highly available, scalable, and secure cloud solutions.

Certification in relevant Oracle Cloud technologies, such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Associate or Professional, is highly desirable.

The candidate must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork with clients, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.

In addition to the above, the candidate must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues in complex environments.

The candidate should have a passion for continuous learning and professional development and a keen interest in emerging technologies and industry trends.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Several years of experience in a technical role, focusing on Oracle Cloud technologies and architecture.

Previous experience in a client-facing consulting or advisory role is advantageous.
