Job Title: Agile Product Coach
Location: Vienna, VA
Contractor Work Model: Hybrid, onsite 2-3 days a week
W2 or 1099 contractors only

Description
To coach, train and mentor employees at all levels of the organization on Agile principles.
Cultivate Agile mindset by demonstrating and teaching values of the Agile Manifesto as well as the technical skills that form the underlying principles and methods. This Agile Coach plays a critical role in helping our teams adopt and mature modern product management practices. This role partners closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, and business leaders to embed a product mindset, drive customer-focused outcomes, and improve delivery flow across the product lifecycle.

As a trusted advisor, the Coach guides teams through practical methods for defining value, prioritizing work, developing MVPs, and creating feedback loops that inform continuous improvement.
They work hands-on with teams to elevate skills, provide frameworks and tools, and ensure alignment between product strategy and business goals.

Responsibilities
Teach, lead, and mentor cross-functional business groups to build, sustain, and strengthen Agile values, SAFe and scrum concepts and practices, providing them the necessary tools and guidance to
successfully implement across high-impact programs throughout the enterprise
Coach teams in scrum tasks (e.g., sprint planning, user story mapping, estimations, daily stand ups, demos, retrospective discussions, etc.)
Ensure Agile project metrics are being tracked and monitored for indications of potential problem areas and assist teams in identifying and implementing solutions to address the problems
Coach Product Managers, Product Owners, and teams on product management principles and practices.
Facilitate workshops on discovery, MVP definition, prioritization, and stakeholder alignment.
Help translate strategic goals into actionable product plans and measurable outcomes.
Guide teams in lean product practices, value hypothesis development, and customer feedback loops.
Support teams in developing clear product visions and customer-focused goals.
Identify skill gaps and help design targeted training and enablement programs.
Collaborate with Agile Coaches, Change Leads, and Process Analysts for cohesive support.
Contribute to evolving enterprise product frameworks and best practices.
Foster a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and customer -centricity.

Qualifications
Significant Experience working in an Agile environment (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, DevOps, etc.),
successfully coaching and transitioning teams, programs, and portfolios
Experience in successful Agile transformation at scale in large enterprise organizations
Experience in implementing Product Operating Model
Significant Experience in Product Management, product coaching, or a related field.
Strong understanding of agile product development and lean principles.
Excellent facilitation, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ability to simplify complex concepts and guide diverse audiences.
Passion for mentoring and developing others in product thinking.
