Job Details

We are seeking a seasoned Electrical or Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineer with extensive experience in nuclear power and large capital projects. This is a high-impact role responsible for leading and executing complex engineering initiatives that span multiple disciplines, contracts, and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong project management acumen, and a collaborative, safety-first mindset to ensure the continued reliability and compliance of nuclear facilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Controls Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of professional engineering experience, including 6+ years in nuclear power plant design or operations.
  • Proven track record in large capital project execution, coordinating multiple stakeholders and technical interfaces.
  • In-depth understanding of the nuclear design change process and configuration management principles.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and perform advanced electrical and I&C engineering tasks supporting nuclear plant operations and modernization projects.
  • Develop and implement design modifications, system upgrades, and equipment replacements to improve safety, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Oversee and coordinate engineering deliverables across multi-contract, large-scale capital projects.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry codes, and configuration management standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and regulatory agencies to deliver high-quality engineering outcomes.
  • Prepare and review technical specifications, drawings, calculations, and documentation.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting excellence in nuclear engineering practices and professional development.
