Position Title:  Equipment Validation Engineer

Location:  Green Valley, AZ

Duration: 10 Months

Job Description: 

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required).
• No 2-year degrees.
• Master’s degree is considered overqualified.

Experience:
• 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Internship experience counts toward years of experience.
• Comparable backgrounds: mechanic, construction, landscaping roles.

Technical Skills:
• Troubleshooting (required)
• CAD experience (required)
• Data acquisition (desired)
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Skilled in sketching, engineering drawings, and computations

Disqualifiers / Red Flags
• Master’s degree
• 5+ years of experience (considered overqualified)
• Heavy coding/programming background

Typical Day / Work Environment
• Task breakdown: Planning tests, executing validation, data acquisition, documentation.
• Interaction: Daily collaboration with engineers, mechanics, operators, technicians, supply chain, and logistics.
• Team structure: 3 team leaders, several senior and junior engineers.
• Environment: 80% on your feet in the shop or field; PPE (boots, glasses, uniform) required.
• Plan, execute, and document machine-level testing.
• Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test mechanical devices.
• Analyze customer design proposals and specifications.
• Investigate equipment failures and recommend maintenance actions.
• Assist drafters with structural design using CAD tools.

• Non-local candidates considered if willing to relocate at own expense and able to attend onsite interviews.
