Title: AI Engineer (LLMs & Agents)
Location: Remote
Job Type: Contract (10+ Months)
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer (LLMs & Agents) who is highly motivated, inherently curious, and relentlessly results-driven. Your core mission will be to deeply understand user workflows and design robust AI systems that automate those workflows using large language models and data-driven tools. This is a builder-focused role centered on software engineering excellence and rapid product delivery not traditional research or academic-style data science.
We highly encourage applicants with a portfolio of AI projects such as GitHub repos, blog posts, demos, or open-source contributions to apply. Please share links to your work!
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deploy end-to-end AI systems, emphasizing LLM-powered features, tools, and agentic workflows
Write scalable, testable, production-grade Python code
Develop intelligent agents utilizing LLM APIs, tool use, memory/state handling, and vector databases
Work across the full tech stack: Google Cloud Platform (infrastructure), Snowflake/Elastic/PostgreSQL (data), third-party/local LLMs (models), and Slack/Streamlit/ChatUI (interfaces)
Continuously evaluate and implement cutting-edge AI methodologies
Build instrumentation for user interaction and feedback loops
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and deliver value-driven features
Effectively communicate system behavior and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience building production AI or scalable backend systems
Solid software engineering fundamentals: clean architecture, testing, CI/CD, version control
Experience working in agile environments with daily standups and sprint reviews
In-depth understanding of LLMs, transformer architecture, prompt engineering, and LLM evaluation
Proficiency with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral), open-source LLMs, and model tuning
Familiarity with agent design: token stream parsing, concurrency, memory management
Experience deploying with FastAPI, Docker, and Kubernetes
Strong Python skills (TypeScript or Go is a plus)
Hands-on experience with vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Weaviate, Pinecone, Elastic)
Proven ability to take ownership and drive projects from ideation to deployment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Nice to Have:
Experience in digital advertising and marketing tech
Deep understanding of modern DL architectures and optimization
Strong presentation and storytelling skills
Self-starter with an organized, learning-driven mindset
Collaborative spirit with a bias toward action and problem-solving
