Senior Full-Stack Engineer
Summary: The team is looking for a motivated Senior Fullstack Engineer to join the Customer Support Tooling team. The team is responsible for building innovative solutions that power virtual assistant and chatbot experiences for customers around the world, enhancing user engagement and streamlining customer support. Our mission is to design and maintain intuitive UI applications, integrating advanced conversational AI technologies to deliver seamless support and self-service options for millions of users. This is a newly established team based out of the San Francisco / Santa Monica / New York offices, and you will be instrumental in developing a brand-new UI platform designed to scale and elevate the customer service experience. We are a fast-paced and rapidly growing organization where you will have the opportunity to tackle unique challenges in conversational interfaces, NLU/NLP integration as we streamline the experience for our customers to self-service some of the actions through our Help Centers
Minimum Qualifications BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent Strong proficiency with Next.js, React, and Material UI Knowledge of TypeScript and vanilla JavaScript (ES6+) Knowledge of Node.js/Express.js Excellent grasp of software development fundamentals, software design patterns and object oriented programming paradigms. Experience with end-to-end testing frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, etc.) Independent, proactive and able to deliver production-ready code with minimal guidance Strong motivation in picking up new domains and writing and shipping well-tested code Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work with multi-functional business partners Strong interpersonal and project coordination skills
Nice to haves Familiarity with integrating conversational AI frameworks (such as Dialogflow, Amazon Lex, or Microsoft Bot Framework) Experience designing or implementing chatbot/virtual assistant interfaces Experience with analytics, customer feedback loops, or A/B testing Familiarity with modern NLU/NLP technologies such as NLU.js or similar (e.g., Rasa NLU, Amelia)
Required Education:
