*Role is onsite, candidate must be local to Charlotte, NC*
Our fastest growing Telecom client is hiring an IP Engineer who will be responsible for managing and deploying network equipment, including Juniper, Alcatel, Cisco, and Ciena. This position will start out as a 6-month contract but our client is looking to for someone to stay with the team long term.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $100,000 - $110,000 / yr. w2
Responsibilities:
As an IP Engineer, you will interpret complex network designs, ensuring materials and physical networks meet design specifications. Your role includes executing migrations and commissioning equipment during maintenance windows, while maintaining accurate ticket statuses and preventing outages on live circuits.
Experience Requirements:
Routing protocols
IP Transport Systems
Troubleshooting
ISP experience
Ability to manage projects simultaneously
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
