Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 day in office, 2 day remote)
Client Industry: Banking / Financial Services
Duration: 12 Months Contract (with possible extension)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, standard business hours
Pay Range: $68 $75 per hour

About the Role
We are hiring a Python Developer to join our client s technology team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading financial services company, contributing to innovative projects and driving technology transformation. You will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining high-performance applications while collaborating in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop object-oriented software using Python, object-oriented databases, and grid computing on a proprietary platform.


• Design and implement data transfer tools to replicate data from NoSQL datastores to Oracle databases.


• Build RESTful web services and design interfaces between UI and backend services.


• Collaborate in the Agile software development lifecycle, including pair programming and daily stand-ups.


• Enhance, modify, and maintain applications to support evolving business needs.

What We re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a Developer with strong expertise in Python (Django, Flask, or FastAPI).


• Hands-on experience with high-volume transactional applications.


• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, query optimization, and SQL objects.


• Strong knowledge of relational and object-oriented databases.


• Experience with Git version control and Agile development processes.


• Familiarity with component-based web application frameworks.


• Preferred: Prior experience in the Banking/Financial industry.

Compensation
Hourly Rate: $68 $75 per hour
