Oracle EBS Financials and Oracle Fusion Financials experience is a MUST. Candidates must be hands on.
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Oracle Fusion Cutover Lead to manage and execute the end-to-end cutover activities for our Oracle Fusion Implementation Program. This role is critical in ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems to Oracle Fusion Cloud by planning, coordinating, and overseeing all tasks and dependencies related to the cutover process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and maintain the master cutover plan covering all activities required for a successful go-live. Requires partnership with Implementation Partner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (functional, technical, infrastructure, business users) to identify cutover scope, tasks, dependencies, and owners.
- Define and enforce cutover governance including change control and issue escalation protocols during the cutover window.
- Lead cutover planning workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions to validate readiness across all workstreams.
- Coordinate legacy system shutdowns, data extraction, final data loads, and system validation activities.
- Oversee business continuity and rollback plans to mitigate go-live risks.
- Ensure required sign-offs and checkpoints are completed prior to initiating cutover.
- Facilitate dry runs, mock cutovers, and simulation exercises to validate timing, accuracy, and resource availability.
- Track cutover execution progress in real-time, proactively resolving issues or escalating blockers.
- Maintain tight coordination with the PMO, Testing Lead, Data Migration Lead, and Change Management team.
- Ensure key artifacts such as runbooks, checklists, and validation logs are prepared, reviewed, and stored appropriately.
- Provide detailed status updates to leadership and stakeholders during each phase of cutover and post go-live.
- Lead post-cutover reviews to capture lessons learned and process improvements for future releases or deployments.
- Support the transition of ownership from the project team to operations/support during the hypercare phase.
Qualifications:
- 15-20+ years of experience in ERP implementations, with at least 2 full-cycle Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations.
- Proven experience managing complex cutovers across Finance (RTR, PTP, PTC, OTC, and/or other Oracle Fusion modules.
- Strong project management, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Knowledge of data migration tools and methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
