Our client, a leader in their industry, has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Full Stack Developer. As a Lead Full Stack Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, modifying, enhancing, and implementing software systems designed to support business initiatives. You will work in all phases of projects, which are of considerable complexity, and require strong knowledge of development and testing technologies and principles, and design patterns. You will also serve as a technical authority and resource for your team while also providing technical assistance and advice on existing software solutions.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $70 - $79 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:
- Write clean, concise code that is stable, extensible and tested appropriately.
- Communicate frequently and effectively with other engineers on the team in addition to our product managers, scrum master's and project managers.
- Provide detailed technical designs for enterprise solutions.
- Diagnose complex issues, evaluate, recommend and execute the best resolution.
- Provide technical leadership on specific integration activities that are part of an engagement.
- Implement new requirements within our Agile delivery methodology while following our established architectural principles.
- Manage detailed application requirements and collaborate with project /development teams to ensure quality, function, features and user experience.
- Provide planning, design, and testing support for the development of solution architectures that will be implemented in a multiple system environment.
- Test software to ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirements.
- Write code that meets the production requirements and design specifications and anticipate potential errors/issue.
- Contribute to knowledge tools and communities and ensure project learning's are documented and shared.
- Provide input into the architecture and design of the product by collaborating with the team to solve problems the right way.
- Practice daily paired programming and test-driven development in writing software and building products.
- Establish continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines and practices.
- Provide production support for software products used by Spectrum Mobile Customers.
Experience Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of Java and Spring Boot
- Expert level experience with Angular2+ or ReactJS, HTML, Typescript, JavaScript, NodeJS, CSS
- Strong experience and knowledge with developing REST APIs including tooling for documentation
- Knowledge and experience with the following
- SQL Database (MySQL, Postgres)
- No SQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB, Neo4J)
- Kafka (Publisher and Consumer)
- Cloud Development (Amazon AWS CloudFormation / Terraform, Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, and other services)
- Code Management Tools (GIT, Gitlab, Maven, JIRA, etc.)
- Ability to effectively lead, monitor and guide the work of others on the team.
- Experience in making critical, architectural decisions for a development team, providing sound technical direction and communicating effectively.
- Experience working on large scale enterprise projects leveraging rigid and complex architectural patterns.
- Extensive production experience with Server and Serverless development, best practices and design patterns.
- Familiarity using test-driven development frameworks or automated testing tools for mobile development.
- Good understanding of OO Design, concurrency, synchronization, memory management, data structures, algorithms, etc.
- Proficiency building large scale, complex, applications optimized for both UX and performance.
- Proficient at developing and communicating agile high-level designs which are used to guide leadership in solution decisions and development teams through detailed design refinements and implementation.
- Team player mindset and a great sense of humor.
- Working experience in Agile software development and leveraging continuous integration and deployment practices.
- Willingness to lead mentor and advise other engineering team members.
- 7+ years overall software development experience
- 7+ years of Java specific development
- 5+ years development team leadership experience
- 5+ years of Spring Boot
- 5+ years web services development experience using REST, JSON, XML
- 5+ years SQL DB (MySql, Postgres)
- 3+ years cloud development (AWS)
- 2+ years JPA / Hibernate
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred
