Job Title: Unit Supervisor Location: Milan, IL Duration:3 - 4 Months On W2 Contract
Shift Information: Position is for 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, 1:00pm-9:30pm
Training will be done 1st shift. OT will be required as needed.

Operations Supervisor will be responsible for leading the department to execute and achieve the stated metrics.
Must haves:

Job description:
Operations Supervisor will be responsible for leading the department to execute and achieve the stated metrics.
Must haves:
- Ability to work multiple shifts and work overtime as required, including some weekend work
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with both salary and wage personnel
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution and material flow processes
What Makes a Candidate Stand Out:
- Experience supervising or leading a team in a union environment
- Working knowledge of the Continuous Improvement Process (CI) and 5S methodology
- Experience with an incentive pay system such as CIPP (Continuous Improvement Pay Plan) and work measurement
- Experience using statistical tools and techniques for quality management
- Knowledge or work experience in project management
- Experience with capacity and Client planning
Education:
- Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in (any discipline)
- Or 1+ years equivalent work experience

- Metatarsals required
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is between $32.00 - $36.00 per hour.
