Job Title: Database Administrator (Oracle, SQL Server)- Local candidates to Arizona only
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: One-Year Contract (Possible Extension)

Job Description:
IRG Clients is looking for a Database Administrator to support the agency's Open Data platforms and manage daily data operations. The role includes collecting, organizing, and maintaining datasets, ensuring data quality, and helping publish data to the agency's Open Data Portals .The DBA will work with internal teams and external users to support data needs and improve data access.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain datasets and databases (Oracle/SQL Server).
- Support data collection, storage, and publication.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and security.
- Help identify datasets for the agency's Open Data portals.
- Maintain metadata and documentation.
- Create user guides, SOPs, and training materials.
- Provide training and support to users on data tools and open data.
- Assist with internal analytics projects as needed.
- Work with departments and external users to understand data needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Data Science, or related field.
- Experience in data management or open data environments.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with Oracle/SQL Server databases.
- Knowledge of data quality, validation, and security.
- Familiarity with open data platforms (OpenGov, AGOL, Socrata, CKAN).
- Experience with Python, R, Excel, and GIS spatial data.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to create documentation and provide training.
- Problem-solving and data visualization skills.
