Job Title: IT Leadership Consultant SAP S/4HANA Implementation
Duration: 6 Months (with potential for extension)

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and adaptable IT Leadership Consultant to support a Private Cloud SAP S/4HANA implementation project. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for either a seasoned professional seeking part-time work or an ambitious individual ready to grow into a strategic IT leadership role in a high-impact environment.
The organization is a small holding company with 4 6 entities and approximately 60 employees. They do not have an internal IT department, so the selected candidate will play a critical role in providing both strategic oversight and operational support throughout the implementation and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day IT activities related to the SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud implementation.
Act as the internal point of contact and liaison between the implementation partner (System Integrator) and internal business stakeholders.
Provide hands-on leadership to ensure alignment between project goals, business requirements, and technical execution.
Support post-go-live operations, helping to define and build internal capabilities for ongoing system support.
Collaborate with business leaders to understand operational needs and ensure proper IT support structures are being developed.
Facilitate knowledge transfer and training for end users and potential future IT hires.
Qualifications
Required:
Proven experience in an IT leadership or consulting role (formal or informal).
Strong communication and coordination skills across technical and non-technical teams.
Comfortable working in a hands-on, startup-style environment with minimal existing infrastructure.
Ability to operate autonomously, while providing structure and direction to the project team.
Preferred:
Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud implementations.
Experience working in a small-to-mid-sized company environment, especially with limited IT resources.
Background in supporting post-go-live SAP operations and internal capability building.
Prior exposure to private equity-owned businesses is a plus.
Work Arrangement
Remote Work: This is a remote-first role with flexibility.
Travel: Occasional travel may be required during key phases of the project (e.g., go-live support).
