Description
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. This role involves serving as a critical link between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure seamless communication and effective solutions. As part of a long-term contract, you will analyze business processes, gather requirements, and contribute to the design and implementation of systems that enhance organizational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison between business units and IT teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
Facilitate requirements gathering sessions to identify system needs and propose effective solutions.
Create detailed project documentation, including business requirements, functional designs, and user stories.
Collaborate with developers and QA teams to support the design, development, and testing of system enhancements.
Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements or new system functionalities.
Assist in sprint planning within an agile framework, including the creation of acceptance criteria and testing support.
Coordinate project tasks and ensure timely completion to meet deadlines.
Conduct user experience analysis to identify areas for system optimization and improved functionality.
Provide ongoing support for software implementation and enhancement initiatives.
Manage small project teams and contribute to the overall project success.
Requirements
Proven experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering and documentation.
Strong knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and agile methodologies.
Proficiency in creating business requirement documents and design specifications.
Ability to analyze and solve complex problems effectively.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with tools and methodologies for quality assurance and testing.
Experience with end-to-end system processes and business process re-engineering.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
