Role: Business Analyst Property & Causality insurance domain
Location : onsite (Warren, NJ)
For Business Analyst key knowledge will be understanding of the new business opportunity submission from a broker, handling of the submission to register it, assign it to an underwriter, underwriter actions of requesting a quote/pricing, delivering the quote to the broker, and working with a policy issuance group to issue the policy. Similar for renewing policies, the process to re-underwrite and re-assess that risk, get a quote with updated variables reflecting changes to the risk versus last policy period and issuing the renewal if pricing is accepted. Experience with WINS system knowledge WINS is legacy AS400 system of records for P&C commercial Policy administration
POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS :
8+ years of Hands-on experience Supporting Applications Property & Causality insurance domain - commercial Lines insurance experience (especially Workers comp, Audit, Auto, GL, Property, packaged policies.)
- Experience with WINS system knowledge WINS is legacy AS400 system of records for P&C commercial Policy administration,
Strong exposure to Underwriting & the Policy admin application & functional knowledge
Good experience in legacy Modernization/sunset of legacy apps.
Strong communication skills, coupled with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders and should be able to communicate in business language.
The ability to work with existing regional teams managing and mentoring.
Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse set of customers or partners across multiple disciplines.
Display patience in difficult situations and drive customer delight in every action.

Manage Application Support team members who are directly reporting and manage the relationship with all internal and third-party service suppliers.
