Oracle System Administrator
Location: Remote
Duration: 4 months + contract to hire
Please Don't Submit any DBA or Database Administrator profiles.
We are looking for candidates who can work on our W2.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
Job Summary
The position of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Administrator is responsible for administration, management, optimization, and support activities associated with the organization s corporate applications, including but not limited to its ERP and Timekeeping systems and a focus on supply chain. This responsibility may include user administration, system maintenance, documentation, interface management, system health monitoring, maintaining security compliance, user training, change management, process improvement and system optimization.
Education & Experience
BS / BA preferred. Consideration will be given to other academic credentials and industry certifications if bachelor s degree is in progress and graduation is expected within 2 years
At least 3-5 years of progressive system administration experience and proficient in tasks such as, analyzing log files, managing user accounts and groups, and setting up system workflows
1-3 Years Oracle Fusion technical administration experience required; functional knowledge of HR, SCM, or Fin areas.
Experience with installing and upgrading systems required
Must have strong customer service and communication skills
Effective ability to work both independently and within a team environment
Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadlines
Motivated, self-starter with excellent problem-solving abilities
Demonstrates ability to meet regular time and attendance requirements
Able to work in an environment using cloud systems
Essential Functions
Acts as internal liaison for end users and corporate partners by providing guidance and training
on application functionalities
Optimizes existing workflows and proactively leads the development and implementation of new workflows
Works with developers, analysts, and business partners to update, maintain and improve applications
Work closely with business units analyzing and documenting current business processes and requirements to identify gaps to an improved future state.
Analyzes and resolves problems according to shifting priorities, time frames and resources
Subject matter expert for managed applications
Ensures and maintains system availability
Ensures system configurations, reports, and workflows are optimized for data quality
Implements changes utilizing a defined change management process
Develops and writes systems and applications documentation
Determines system problems and coordinate hardware and/or software solutions
Implements security procedures and tools to ensure security measures are in place
Monitors performance and maintains systems according to requirements
Troubleshoots issues and outages and serves as point-of contact for internal and external customers
Coordinates with application vendors, managed support vendors and business partners regarding upgrades and releases and tests appropriately
Provides oral and written status reports to more senior IT and business partners
May need to administer third party applications in support of the Oracle primary processes.
Provides on-call after hours support as required to maintain critical business functions

Teamwork and Collaboration: This job leads team initiatives. Has responsibility and accountability for team activities.
Guidance: General guidelines and references are used with some discretion. Projects are assigned with latitude for decision-making and setting of priorities. Specific problems should be referred to supervisor for clarification of policies and procedures before proceeding
Problem Solving / Thinking Skills: Identifiable Information is clear but further investigation often is required to define problems and proceed. Often requires modifying existing procedures/precedents within established policy.
Vendors / Suppliers: Frequently (at least three times a week)
Other Staff, Including Physicians: Occasionally (at least once a month
Working Environment
Work Schedule: Work may require evening, night, holiday, or weekend assignments on occasion.
Volatility of Workload: The workload required to perform this job requires frequent changes.
