Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Python Developer with strong expertise in building scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data integrations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Python programming, data engineering on Google Cloud Platform, and integrating data from multiple sources. This hybrid role requires onsite presence in Dallas, TX.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Implement robust data ingestion and integration processes using APIs and cloud services.
• Work with Google Cloud Platform services: BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Cloud Composer.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to deliver reliable datasets.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure data governance, security, and monitoring standards are met.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of overall experience in Python development with a focus on data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Cloud Storage) 2+ end-to-end projects.
• Strong expertise in SQL: queries, transformations, performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, workflow orchestration, and pipeline optimization.
• Experience integrating APIs and cloud-based data sources.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Airflow / Cloud Composer for workflow orchestration.
• Exposure to streaming/real-time data pipelines.
• Knowledge of BI or data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
