Summary
The CAFM consultant oversees the CAFM (Computer-Aided Facility Management) FMS system as a system administrator. This role involves setting up access roles, developing views, reports and process flows within the system capabilities. The consultant will work in partnership with the NM technical support and vendor support to ensure seamless execution of workflow for our internal user requests. Effective project management skills, transparent intake processes, and clear, consistent communication with clients and stakeholders are essential. Weekly coordination across various teams including planners, trades and other FMS users, is required. The role demands strategic vision, technical knowledge, and communication skills to continuously add value to the organization through the CAFM system. Responsibilities also include analyzing workspace utilization data to optimize space planning, developing and maintaining key performance indicators, and producing insightful reports.

195 - Structure 110: 84,350.00 USD - 156,650.00 USD
195 - Structure 115: 88,130.00 USD - 163,670.00 USD

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
CAFM Product Ownership
- System Administration: Manage ongoing maintenance and improvement of the CAFM system, including backlog management, sprint planning and review, issue management, documentation and training, user feedback, and performance monitoring.
- Workflow and Process Improvements: Develop effective workflows, process improvements and innovative system enhancements; collaborate with CEE and IT/Corporate Solutions support teams.
- Quality Assurance and Testing: Actively participate in Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing.
- Data Governance: Serves as a primary CSD representative on the Data Governance and Statistics Teams.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and resolve any issues related to the CAFM system.
Workspace Optimization: Analysis & Reporting
- Data Standards: Lead the effort around development and documentation of the space data standards, in accordance with the BOMA standard.
- AutoCAD Polylines: Maintains the AutoCAD polylines, in accordance with the BOMA standard, uploads and integrates space data with the drawings in the CAD/FMS systems.
- Data Quality Checks: Lead processes for CSD data quality checks and system sync actions to ensure accurate reporting.
- Metrics and Reporting: Extract data and configures metrics and reports for management and clients; including ad-hoc and on-going standing reporting.
- Occupancy Chargeback: Complete an annual Occupancy Rent Chargeback for internal departments.
- Utilization Analysis: Analyze and report on workspace utilization using data from multiple sources, including the CAFM system. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and insights.
Additional Responsibilities
- Design Integration: Liaison to Space Planning/Design team and corporate Architect, integrating design process insights with the Space data to improve the client experience and support the company strategy. Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit drawing models is essential.
- System Modules Investigation: Investigate new system Modules and features to present to Leaders and CSD.
- Relocation Specialist Support: Provides guidance and support to the Relocation Specialist role, including relocation/move process actions and related data management.
- Technology Roadmap: Lead the technology roadmap for CSD including AutoCAD, Revit, and other software to support the design team. Provide recommendations, roadmap planning, implementation, training, and support.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, project management or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in CAFM/IWMS systems management.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit programs, system integration including API knowledge of systems like Workday and Outlook.
- Solid experience using Power BI for reporting and metrics
- Organizational skills: Strong organizational, planning and analysis skills with the ability to manage numerous tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Pressure Management: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with accuracy.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and commitment to customer service excellence.
- Communication Skills: Superior verbal and written communications skills with demonstrated ability to exercise tact and good judgment.
- Initiative: High degree of personal initiative and motivation.
