Overview
We’re seeking an Automation Engineer who thrives on transforming how enterprise applications and infrastructure are delivered and managed. In this role, you’ll design, implement, and support a new OpenSource Scanning Solution, integrating security and compliance checks into robust CI/CD pipelines and modern infrastructure.
You’ll leverage Infrastructure-as-Code, container orchestration, and automation tools to enhance system reliability, accelerate deployment cycles, and optimize cloud resources. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technologist who can bridge development, operations, and security teams, ensuring our solutions are secure, scalable, and cost-effective.
What You’ll Do

Design and build automated infrastructure processes using Ansible and Terraform.

Deploy and integrate open-source scanning tools into DevOps pipelines to enhance security and compliance.

Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code for scalable, repeatable deployments.

Lead technical initiatives transforming application delivery and infrastructure practices.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to deployments, integrations, and configurations.

Optimize cloud resource utilization and implement automated monitoring solutions.

Collaborate with DevOps, security, and engineering teams, serving as a bridge between technical and business stakeholders.

Create and maintain documentation for automation processes, configurations, and operational runbooks.

Your Skills & Experience
Must-Have Technical Skills:
-
Proven experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
-
Hands-on experience designing and managing infrastructure with Terraform.
-
Practical knowledge deploying and integrating open-source security and vulnerability scanning tools such as Trivy, Clair, SonarQube, Anchore, etc.
-
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).

Solid scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Nice-to-Have:

Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Experience administering Windows and/or Linux environments.

Understanding of security compliance requirements and DevSecOps practices.
