Responsibilities

Peraton, a recognized leader in Cyber, Digital Transformation, Cloud, Operations and Engineering, is seeking skilled Database Administrator to join our team of professionals delivering technology services and capabilities in defense of the nation. Position description:

Maintains the integrity, security and availability of multiple database(s). Duties include disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring of data.
Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database.
Evaluates and recommends available database management system (DBMS) products.
Performs database and software life-cycle activities to ensure highest level of system performance and availability and compliance with business requirements.
Performs Oracle, SQL Server, SYBASE, and other DBMS Database and Application server administration.
Organizes and formats data for efficient query and storage processes.
Requires Bachelor's degree with 8 or more years of relevant experience. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD

Required Qualifications:

Proficient in Oracle RDBMS, including 12c and 19c. Significant experience managing Oracle streams, text, multimedia, spatial.
Requires Bachelor's degree with 8 or more years of relevant experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Active TS with the ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph
Proficient with Oracle PL/SQL
Familiarity with PostgreSQL.
Experience with JBOSS, Apache, Tomcat, Java
Experience with Linux (CENTOS, RHEL)
Active CompTIA Security+ CE Certification.
Desired Qualifications:

IC experience
Experience with system accreditation process
DIA experience is desired

Target Salary Range

$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
