Job Title: .NET Developer (Journeyman and Senior Level)
Clearance: Active Interim Top Secret (minimum); Top Secret preferred
Location: Washington, DC / VA location (Hybrid Primarily Remote; Local Candidates Only)
Contract: 3-6 Month Contract-to-Hire

Candidate must hold at least one of the following:

Education: Bachelor s degree required, if not having degree they would need to have additional 3+ years experience in related field.

Overview
Our team is supporting the Washington, DC office on a large, mission-critical federal program. We are seeking both Journeyman and Senior .NET Developers who possess strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a highly professional team. The selected candidates must be local to Washington / VA and able to obtain a badge and work onsite at the Pentagon as required.
Candidates must meet strict clearance and certification requirements, and all relevant experience must be clearly reflected on the rsum for consideration.
Work Environment
- Hybrid: Primarily remote, with occasional onsite requirements in Washington, VA.
- Local candidates only (due to badge pickup and Pentagon site access).
- Current environment uses Azure DevOps, with migration underway to GitLab.
Required Security Clearance
- Interim Top Secret (TS) or Full Top Secret required at minimum.
Required Certifications (IAT Level II Non-Negotiable)
Candidate must hold at least one of the following:
- CompTIA Security+ CE
- Cisco CCNA Security
- GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
- Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
- CySA+ (CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst)
Senior .NET Developer
Education: Bachelor s degree required, if not having degree they would need to have additional 3+ years experience in related field.
Experience:
- 7+ years designing, developing, and supporting web applications
- 7+ years developing .NET applications
- 7+ years using Microsoft Visual Studio
- 4+ years with JavaScript or equivalent technologies
- Demonstrated DevOps experience (Azure DevOps, GitLab, or similar tools)
Soft Skills
- Professional, courteous, and collaborative demeanor
- Ability to work well within a polite and cohesive team
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
