Job Details
SAP FI Analyst
Location: Hybrid role Columbus OH
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support for SAP FI users, including troubleshooting issues, resolving errors, and answering inquiries related to General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, and Controlling (CO) integration points.
- Participate in the full lifecycle of SAP FI implementation projects, including requirements gathering, system design, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
- Configure and customize the SAP FI module based on business requirements, ensuring alignment with best practices and company policies.
- Develop and maintain functional specifications for SAP FI enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions, and forms (RICF) objects.
- Collaborate with ABAP developers to implement custom solutions and ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and external systems.
- Perform system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure the quality and accuracy of SAP FI configurations and developments.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including configuration guides, process flows, and training materials.
- Train end-users on SAP FI processes and functionalities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization within the SAP FI landscape.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP FI functionalities, updates, and industry best practices.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
- Participate in data migration and data cleansing activities related to SAP FI.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of [Insert Number, e.g., 3-5] years of hands-on experience as an SAP FI Analyst or Consultant.
- Strong functional knowledge and configuration experience in the SAP FI module, including GL, AP, AR, AA, and Bank Accounting.
- Understanding of integration points between SAP FI and other modules such as SD, MM, and PP.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in creating functional specifications and test scripts.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
