Overview
- We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst with strong analytical, technical, and communication skills to support enterprise transformation initiatives within our ClientFinance business.
- The role focuses on modernizing accounting platforms, enhancing controls, compliance, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between business and IT to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Lead and support multiple Agile projects related to financial systems and data applications.
- Document business requirements, processes, and user stories (Gherkin format).
- Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform system analysis, root cause, and impact assessments.
- Support user acceptance testing and ensure solution reliability and compliance with SOX policies.
- Provide subject matter expertise on finance and accounting systems.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience as a Systems Analyst, preferably in Finance/Accounting.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration.
- Strong SQL, Excel, SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence skills.
- Experience with databases (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) and cloud platforms (AWS, Snowflake).
- Familiarity with metadata tools (e.g., Collibra) and data lineage.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working in Agile environments and with SOX-compliant systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Freddie Mac, Finance, or Mortgage industry.
- Knowledge of Accounting Systems/Subledgers.
- Advanced degree or certifications (CSM, CBAP, PMP, CSPO).
