Overview:
The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health (GA DCBH) is seeking a Database Administrator 1 (Data Quality Analyst) to support data quality and integrity within the MyInsight Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. This role ensures accurate data retrieval, analysis, and correction to maintain compliance with clinical, billing, and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run SQL queries and use MyInsight reporting tools to identify and correct data errors.

  • Perform audits on benefit assignments, insurance relationships, and checkout status.

  • Analyze and correct service records for billing compliance and completeness.

  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for data entry workflows.

  • Identify and clean duplicate patient records, ensuring consistency across EHR.

  • Support billing accuracy for Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance claims.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor s degree in Health Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience with EHR systems (MyInsight by Netsmart preferred).

  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and reporting.

  • Knowledge of healthcare billing and insurance requirements (Medicaid, Medicare, Private).

  • Understanding of ICD/CPT coding and E/M documentation standards.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data auditing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in public health or clinical environments.

  • Hands-on experience with healthcare data cleanup and workflow audits.

  • Familiarity with vaccination admin fee requirements and clinical service validation.

Competencies:

  • High attention to detail and data accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with staff.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
