Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst for its Houston, TX location.

Duties: Participate in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs. Ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements. Resolve a variety of high impact problems and projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards. Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint. Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation. Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business including architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals. Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation providing applications development within the financial industry. Six (6) years of experience must include: Working with OpenLink, Endur and Oracle for handling trading and risk management activities including analysis and reporting; Utilizing programming languages including Java, SQL, OpenComponents, and Open JVS to write efficient programs following best coding practices; Utilizing software integration practices including Rest APIs and integration gateways to exchange secure information; Developing models in C++ and Python for computing pricing and risk for derivative products; Working with DevOps tools including JIRA, Git, Sonar-Qube, uDeploy, and Teamcity to increase productivity of build and delivery cycles; and Utilizing analytical tools to create reports and dashboards for Front Office and Risk Management. 40 hrs./wk.
