Federal Network Engineer

Immediate hire for a Network Engineer with experience working in a Federal environment. Will design, implement, and maintain complex network systems for both company and federal clients. This role requires expertise in LAN/WAN/WLAN environments, a deep understanding of Aruba networking technologies, and hands-on federal experience. Candidate will hold an active or renewable security clearance and be open to 70% travel. Maintain, troubleshoot, and support enterprise network systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless systems, and VoIP . Install, configure, and upgrade network hardware and firmware, including Aruba wireless controllers and access points . Document all work actions per company and client standards using tools such as Microsoft Visio and Excel . Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and third-party service providers to resolve complex technical issues . Perform systems testing and troubleshooting across diverse networking systems . Provide 24/7 support for critical systems, with potential for night, weekend, or on-call shifts.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on network engineering experience
- CCNP certification MUST have
- Strong working knowledge of Aruba wireless solutions (controllers, access points, switches)
- Experience in federal environments and knowledge of federal requirements/compliance
- Must have Active or renewable security clearance
- Willingness to travel up to 70%
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP protocols , routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and Quality of Service (QoS)
- Proficiency in maintaining and troubleshooting network technologies such as routers, switches, and firewalls
- Federal experience, including working within secure and compliant environments
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple projects independently
- Additional certifications in Cisco or Aruba products
- Experience with Fortinet networking products
