Job Description

Create and maintain integration plans for features with-in displays and HUD domain for multiple projects for different Vehicle Intelligence Platform programs. Build, maintain and manage test environments including benches and vehicles needed for manual and automated runs. Lead and train new engineers on the team and assign tasks with-in the domain. Help drive decisions about strategies, collaborate across development and validation organizations. Execute feature integration and verification plans on benches and vehicles. Collaborate with other members on software integration team and cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize verification execution for various milestones. Identify, analyze, root cause defects, and assist with resolving issues throughout GVDP. Provide validation ready integrated solutions by 80% milestone to enable intensive testing from validation teams. Own integration of software features and functions across multiple ECUS in displays and HUD domains. Verify operation of features and functions on ECU and module interfaces including CAN, Ethernet, and LIN. Identify, troubleshoot and resolve software integration issues found throughout the vehicle development cycle. Acquire and analyze data logs for root cause identification of complex and system issues. Work with release, supplier teams to develop, test and integrate software. Conduct workshops for feature and interface development issues and document appropriately to a specific module owner. Develop custom Software and Hardware tools as needed to improve work efficiency and results. Develop and execute feature verification plan for complex features with collaboration from feature and system owners. Ensure issue resolution was performed timely and properly as well as own and drive issues to closure. Support manufacturing assembly plants, pre-production operations and development teams.

Additional Job Description

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. Five (5) years of experience as an Embedded System Design Engineer, IT Analyst, Assistant Manager, Software Engineer, or related occupation. Three (3) years of experience in the following :Using Vehicle Spy or Vector CANoe tool to test pre-release embedded Electronic Control Unit software for passenger vehicles; Camera, Display or HUD vehicle control systems engineering, validation and design; Validation and development with automotive electrical interfaces including CAN, LIN, EAVB, A2B, USB, and LVD; Hardware-in-the-Loop tools for automotive embedded controls software Verification and Validation; Developing microprocessor-based, real-time control algorithms and software in high level C/C++ language; and Appropriate systems engineering methods with emphasis on product integrity and safety.
