QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join a high-performing team focused on building robust and scalable architectural tools. This is a crucial, backend-focused role where you will play a key part in ensuring our software is extensible and interoperable with other systems, maintaining the highest standards of quality and performance for our products.

• Lead the execution of detailed quality assurance testing for complex, backend-focused software.
• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans.
• Identify, report, and track software defects to resolution.
• Collaborate closely with development and product teams to enhance quality practices.
• Mentor and guide junior QA team members to ensure adherence to best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team.

• 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on backend systems.
• Experience testing systems that handle data migrations, integrations, and connections.
• 3+ years of experience in automation testing.
• 3+ years of experience in performance testing.
• 3+ years of experience in Agile methodologies.
• Experience with automated testing tools like Postman or Swagger is preferred
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools is preferred.
• Familiarity with security testing practices is preferred.
• A strong equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.

• Backend Testing: Expertise in testing backend components in a Linux-driven cloud environment.
• Test Automation: Proficiency in creating automated tests.
• Scripting Languages: Experience with Go, TypeScript, or similar languages.
• APIs: Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman and Swagger.
• Linux: Familiarity with Linux environments is a plus.
• Agile: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
• CI/CD: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
