Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is seeking an IT Program Manager / Delivery Manager (Regulatory-driven Response, Execution and Reporting) for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in lower Manhattan, NYC. Hybrid - 2-3 days/week in the office required.

The role will serve as a Delivery Manager, supporting IT remediation activities for the U.S. Technology Group related to regulatory finding(s). This person will serve as a Workstream Coordinator for two U.S. remediation workstreams - Strategy & Funding and Change Management.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Regulatory Remediation Program focusing on 2 critical workstreams. Project managers for various work streams will report to you.
  • Act as workstream coordinator / delivery manager for U.S. CIO:
    • Collect status updates and evidence from workstream task owners
    • Review evidence and organize milestone closure packages in collaboration with the issue closure writer
    • Provide overall workstream status reporting on a weekly basis
  • Work closely with technology partners on tracking remediation action plans, overseeing the end-to-end delivery of multiple milestones across the workstreams.
  • Main responsibilities focused on regulatory-driven work (e.g., exam management, IT responses, compliance and remediation). Exam management is driven by internal and external exam audits.
  • Ensure that closure packages and associated critical milestones are completed on time and at a high quality.
  • Work closely with the Office of the CIO and internal or external auditors on tracking remediation action plans.
  • Standardize technology communication, documentation, memos and senior business line communications across U.S. Technology workstreams for regulatory issues.
  • Ensure governance is in place during meetings pertaining to regulatory issues and that decisions are properly minuted. Escalate risks as necessary.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and evidence throughout the remediation process, keeping the evidence repositories updated.
  • Responsible for internal reporting on the status of IT remediation for all issues to senior stakeholders.
Required Skills:
  • 8+ years of exceptional IT Program Management Skills
  • 7+ years' experience with both:
    • Regulatory IT (e.g., FFIEC Guidelines, NYS DFS, FRB NY, FINRA, OCC)
    • Audit or Exam Management (e.g., governance, audit, control functions, compliance, risk management)
  • Candidates should have knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Technology (e.g., IT Asset Management, Software Currency/EOL, Cybersecurity scanning)
    • Issue Management (e.g., execution tracking, risk evaluation, escalation, reporting)
  • Prior experience with U.S IT Regulatory exams and remediation execution within Financial Services
  • Excellent judgment and organizational skills
  • Excellent writing and oral communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work simultaneously on various tasks, independently and to completion
  • Attentive to detail
