Role Name: SAP SD Business Analyst
Location: Grand Prairie, TX
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The SAP SD Business Analyst will manage projects for Sales, overseeing the process from business requirement gathering to implementation. This role requires prioritizing tasks to meet project deadlines and involves SAP modifications in SD, user exit adaptations, custom ABAP programs, custom tables, configuration changes, and data transfer via FTP/automation tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business requirements and scope project needs.
Evaluate project feasibility and ensure adherence to schedule and budget.
Monitor and guide developer activities, supervise implementation, and provide production support post go-live.
Perform thorough testing in Development and QA environments.
Engage in cross-functional meetings with all departments involved, primarily Sales & Distribution (SD), and potentially Warehouse Management (WM). Knowledge of Material Management (MM) is a plus.
Define functional and development change requirements.
Create and communicate technical specifications with internal configuration and development teams.
Define and implement requirements for background batch jobs, user interface forms, and reports.
Perform configuration updates and monitor transports from Development to QA to Production environments.
Define, create, and modify SQ01 queries, including ABAP coding for queries.
Support day-to-day activities around Sales with the business.
Support and follow testing with the business for SAP upgrades in ECC6.
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5 years of SAP Configuration experience.
Minimum 5 years of SD Functional and/or Sales/Customer Support Business experience.
Experience in functional specification and requirement documentation.
Familiarity with project management methodologies (Six Sigma, Waterfall, Agile, SAFe, etc.).
