Hi,
We are seeking an experienced Device Certification Engineer to join Comcast s T-Mobile Certification team.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that OEM devices meet Comcast standards through test planning, execution, and certification processes. This role requires close collaboration with vendors (Samsung, Google, Motorola, etc.), internal Comcast teams, and T-Mobile technical teams

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Onsite at Comcast HQ)
Position Type: Full-Time/Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with OEMs, internal Comcast teams, and T-Mobile teams to manage device certification activities.
- Develop test plans, execute test cases, and analyze test results.
- Perform issue debugging and log analysis using tools such as QXDM, ELT, etc.
- Coordinate defect reporting, triaging, and tracking with OEM and internal teams.
- Interface with vendors/OEMs (Samsung, Google, Motorola, etc.) to resolve certification issues.
- Conduct device testing using industry-standard equipment (Keysight, R&S, etc.).
- Carry out program management tasks to track certification progress and timelines.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of overall industry experience.
- Prior experience in device testing and certification is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of 4G/5G UE/device-side protocols.
- Hands-on experience with debug/log analysis tools (QXDM, ELT, etc.).
- Familiarity with test equipment such as Keysight, R&S.
- Strong vendor management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and documentation abilities.
- PMP certification is a plus (not mandatory).
