Your expertise in software development and leadership will play a critical role in solving complex problems and driving technological advancements in national defense.

You like to do this:
  • Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance goals.
  • Design and code new software or modify existing software to add innovative features.
  • Debug software to resolve defects and improve performance.
  • Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
  • Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance standards.
  • Collaborate with system engineers and stakeholders to derive requirements and implement solutions.
  • Lead and oversee software development teams, ensuring quality and performance alignment.
  • Develop system installation or build procedures, scripts, and documentation.
  • Drive process improvements in documentation and software development standards.
  • Design, develop, and optimize database interfaces and complex algorithms.

You are required to have this:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, plus 14 years of experience as a Software Engineer, or 18 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong experience in designing and implementing complex software systems.
  • Proven track record in leading software development teams and meeting project requirements.
  • Experience with software development processes, documentation, and quality control.
  • Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments.
  • Strong problem-solving, technical aptitude, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Salary Range: $140,000 - $200,000
