Job Title: Sr. Business Execution with CAT Reporting

Location: New York, NY 10001 (Hybrid)

Duration: 13+ Months with possible extension/conversion

Job Overview:

Project supporting Capital Markets Operations. This role is focused on resolving exception control issues related to Consolidated Audit Trail (CAT) Reporting within a large financial institution. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of capital markets operations, CAT reporting, and order/execution platforms such as Fidessa.

Candidates need to have:

  • 7+ years of experience in Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning, preferably within financial services.
  • Experience working on CAT (Consolidated Audit Trail) Reporting within a business, operations, or technology function.
  • Strong understanding of Capital Markets operations, including order and trade lifecycle.
  • Experience working with order management and execution platforms, such as Fidessa.
  • Proficiency in tools such as MS PowerPoint, JIRA, and Confluence.

Preferred:

  • Experience at a large financial institution or investment bank.
  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting frameworks and risk controls within capital markets.
  • Experience in control remediation projects or audit response efforts.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration in hybrid work environments

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Capital Markets Operations teams to identify and resolve reporting exceptions related to CAT (Consolidated Audit Trail).
  • Investigate and confirm the validity of errors by conducting detailed research and documentation.
  • Drive remediation efforts by determining root causes, implementing solutions, and tracking outcomes.
  • Analyze automated processes to uncover associated risks and suggest mitigation strategies.
  • Create and deliver reports and presentations to stakeholders highlighting issues, resolutions, and process improvements.
  • Document procedures, controls, and remediation activities in tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Business Execution, Compliance, and Technology to ensure alignment and timely delivery of remediation objectives.
