Title: Technical Support Specialist
Location: Seattle, WA (98101) / Onsite
Employment Type: 2+ Month W2 Contract (no C2C or sponsorship available)
Job Description:
Talent Groups is currently seeking a Technical Support Specialist for our client in Seattle, WA. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will provide hands-on technical assistance to staff, ensuring optimal use of hardware and software technologies. This includes supporting workstations, peripherals, audio/visual equipment, and network connectivity. The ideal candidate has strong technical troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow a checklist to validate workstation and system readiness.
- Set up and test docking stations, laptops, and peripheral devices (monitors, keyboards, mice, etc.).
- Verify connectivity to networked services (e.g., Outlook, web browsers).
- Test desk phone functionality and printer connectivity.
- Ensure tidy and organized wire management.
- Validate wireless access points across office floors.
- Escalate issues when necessary and document resolutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Windows 10/11.
- Familiarity with computer hardware, peripherals, and cabling.
- Comfort working with audio/visual equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience providing IT support in a corporate or fast-paced environment preferred
