Job Details

Hiring: W2 Candidates Only

Visa: Open to any visa type with valid work authorization in the USA

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain security systems and controls

  • Monitor networks and systems for security breaches and suspicious activity

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing

  • Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches

  • Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures

  • Implement firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, SIEM, and endpoint security tools

  • Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies

  • Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, etc.)

  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into systems

  • Keep up to date with emerging cyber threats and security technologies


Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)

  • Experience with operating systems (Linux, Windows, macOS)

  • Understanding of encryption, authentication, and access control mechanisms

  • Familiarity with security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, vulnerability scanners)

  • Scripting or programming skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar)

  • Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)

  • Incident response and threat analysis skills


Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security (varies by role level)

  • Relevant certifications (preferred):

    • CEH

    • CISSP

    • Security+

    • CISM

    • OSCP
