BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Web Developer (Contractor) for Onsite Work opportunity in Redmond WA

Position Title: Senior Web Developer

Location: Redmond, WA In person, Redmond WA - can be part remote after some time but need to be in office to start

Anticipated Start Date: - ASAP

Expected Duration: 3 + Months Contract

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $80.00-$85.00 on w2 only

Overview

• The main function of the Web Developer is to design, code, and create system specifications, analyze, evaluate, test, debug, document, and implement complex software applications.

Summary

• Code, test, document, implement, and maintain application programs and interfaces or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results


• Install, and prepare technical documentation for system software applications


• Systems capacity and performance, plan and execute disaster recovery procedures, and provide technical support


• Escalate and document production impact issues


• User requests for new or modified computer programs to determine feasibility, cost, time required and compatibility with current systems and capabilities

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience

• 4 years experience with Supply chain experience, inventory management, supplier management experience


• 4 years experience with MSFT suite; focusing on Excel


• 4 years experience with communication

Education/Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.

* PMI or PMP certification preferred.

* 2-4 years experience required.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field required


• 8-10 years experience required


• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work independently and manage one's time


• Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue


• Knowledge of computer hardware and software


• Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles


• Knowledge of computer development software as it relates to systems, such as SQL, VisualBasic, etc


• Expertise with COBOL, MVS, CICS, JCL, or other mainframe tools and utilities
