Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Technician to join our team in Asheville, NC. This onsite role is ideal for a technician who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys working directly with clients. You will support local businesses-many of which have small or no internal IT departments-by providing hands-on desktop support, hardware maintenance, system upgrades, and monitoring services.
This position is critical to managing an increasing volume of support tickets and ensuring timely resolution of technical issues. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and troubleshooter, capable of working independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite desktop support for local clients, including hardware and software troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Execute deployment projects involving the removal of outdated hardware and installation of new desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and other peripherals.
- Assist with system monitoring and ensure optimal performance of client environments.
- Respond to and resolve incoming support tickets efficiently, maintaining detailed documentation of issues and resolutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and ongoing support.
- Utilize ConnectWise (preferred) or similar ticketing systems to manage service requests and track progress.
- Maintain a professional presence onsite, delivering clear communication and exceptional customer service.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in IT support, desktop maintenance, or hardware deployment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Familiarity with system imaging, software installation, and upgrade processes.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and OneNote.
- Experience with ticketing systems; ConnectWise experience is a strong plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
