Department: Business Analyst - Medical Affairs
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst with experience in Medical Affairs to support strategic and operational decision-making. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between data, medical strategy, and business operations by analyzing data, identifying trends, and delivering actionable insights to support clinical, scientific, and regulatory initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Clinical Development, and Commercial to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Develop dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to support Medical Affairs strategy (e.g., KOL engagement, medical education, scientific communication).
- Analyze real-world data (RWD), publications, and medical insights to assess product performance and unmet medical needs.
- Support the development and tracking of medical performance metrics and KPIs.
- Assist in optimizing Medical Affairs processes, workflows, and systems (e.g., MSL activity tracking, medical inquiry management).
- Work closely with IT and data teams to ensure proper integration of data sources and reporting tools.
- Conduct competitive landscape and literature analysis to support scientific strategy.
- Support compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements related to Medical Affairs activities.
- Prepare business cases, process documentation, and stakeholder presentations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Business, or related field (Master's or MBA preferred).
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within pharmaceutical or biotech Medical Affairs.
- Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical product lifecycle, Medical Affairs function, and regulatory environment.
- Proficiency with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), Excel, and data analysis techniques.
- Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Veeva Medical CRM) and medical information systems.
- Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to translate complex medical data into business insights.
